Lance Corporal Jon Heywood, 26, vowed to use the money to get the ‘best possible medical treatment’ for his father, who awaits heart and lung transplant. Jon said in an interview by The Sun: ‘I couldn’t believe that I’d won all this money at the time – and it still hasn’t sunk in. It’s amazing. The first thing I will spend it on is the best possible medical treatment for my dad. That’s more important than anything. The happy winner hit the jackpot little before Midnight on Tuesday, but had to keep his win in secret for three whole days, says the news in The Daily Mail and he even went to work the next day as if nothing had happened.
